New England Patriots - New York Jets - Buffalo Bills - Miami Dolphins

New England Patriots

Winner: Damien Harris

Following the Patriots' selection of Mac Jones, Damien Harris' fantasy outlook is bright. The rookie finished his first year in the NFL with just two rushing touchdowns. Now, there may be more opportunities to come. Sony Michel is moving into the final year of his contract as his fifth-year option has been declined. This could be a sign that New England will be parting ways with their former first-rounder.

Depending on how many games Mac Jones will start, Cam Newton's rushing touchdowns could be on the decline. Last season, Newton ran for 12 touchdowns. Harris certainly produced in the rushing department, but we can expect more in the touchdown department if Newton's playtime is cut down. Harris could wind up with 8-10 touchdowns in 2021.

Loser: Cam Newton

When Cam Newton struggled last season, he was benched in favor of Jarrett Stidham. Now, with a rookie quarterback on the bench eager to take the starting role, Newton's leash is even shorter. Bill Belichick has said time and time again that Cam Newton is their quarterback until either Stidham or Jones proves ready to start. From the outside, it appears this is Newton's last dance with the Patriots. The two are virtually polar opposites as Cam Newton rushed for 12 touchdowns and Mac Jones is one of (if not the) least mobile quarterbacks in the NFL. However, Newton will likely be the bridge quarterback for rookie Mac Jones to learn from.

New York Jets

Winner(s): Elijah Moore/Michael Carter

After finishing with the second-most receiving yards in all of college football, Elijah Moore finds a perfecting landing spot with the Jets. Moore will compete for starting slot duties, but new OC Mike LaFleur will use him in a Deebo Samuel/Brandon Aiyuk role. Michael Carter could be this year's Devonta Freeman, landing himself a starting role despite the fourth-round selection.

Loser: Jamison Crowder

The Jets were rumored to be shopping Jamison Crowder during the draft but found no takers. The Jets can also save $10M by cutting him at any point prior to June 1st.

Buffalo Bills

Winner: Defensive Line

It's tempting to put Zach Moss in this spot, but the Bills defensive unit stood out with all of the additions made in the draft. The Bills selected two edge rushers in the first two rounds of the 2021 draft. First-rounder Gregory Rousseau and second-rounder Carlos Basham should help improve the middle-of-the-pack (15th) sack rate.

Loser(s): Cole Beasley/Gabriel Davis

Gabriel Davis is coming off a tremendous rookie campaign with 7 touchdowns. He seemed like an obvious breakout candidate come the 2021 season. However, following the signing of Emmanuel Sanders, Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis' roles are now unclear.

Miami Dolphins

Winner: Tua Tagovailoa

Entering 2021 one thing is for certain, we will find out if Tua Tagovailoa is who the Dolphins fans hope he is. After watching Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow excel in their rookie campaigns, the pressure is on Tua to rise up. The Fins went fishing for big names in the draft and free agency, acquiring key pieces to help him succeed. New additions Will Fuller and Jaylen Waddle will give Tagovailoa more weapons on the offense. With ample cap room and tons of future draft picks, Tagovailoa must play well this year to keep his job.

Loser(s): DeVante Parker/Mike Geisicki

Additions may help Tua but will most likely impact the fantasy production of the leftover pieces. DeVante Parker has only had brief stretches of success, while Mike Gesicki has also struggled with consistency.
